Good Things Festival 2024 Unveils Massive Sideshow Line-Up

Good Things Festival 2024 has expanded its footprint with a packed schedule of headlining sideshows, giving fans an extra chance to catch some of the festival's biggest names. Taking place from early to mid-December, these performances surround the festival's main dates: Friday, December 6th, in Melbourne, Saturday, December 7th, in Sydney, and Sunday, December 8th, in Brisbane. The sideshow lineup was spearheaded by Korn’s announcement of their Adelaide-exclusive performance at AEC Arena on Wednesday, December 4th. That show has already sold out, marking their only appearance outside of the main festival dates.
Leading the charge is Canadian pop-punk powerhouse Sum 41, set to visit Australia as part of their farewell Tour of the Setting Sum. The tour supports their final album, Heaven :x: Hell, and marks their last Australian shows before disbanding in early 2025. They’ll be joined by Canadian emo-rapper Grandson at all shows except Sydney.
Other standout performances include the Violent Femmes’ Melbourne-exclusive set celebrating their iconic early albums, Violent Femmes and Hallowed Ground, and Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan’s first Australian solo shows since 2005, supported by The Delta Riggs. Additionally, Slayer guitarist Kerry King will make his Australian solo debut, joining Mastodon on their sideshow tour.
Special guests for several sideshows have also been announced. Taylor Acorn will join Bowling For Soup, Alex Lahey will open for Destroy Boys, and The Delta Riggs will both support and back Billy Corgan.
