Australian heavy music trailblazers Ocean Grove are set to hit the road this October for a headline tour in support of their fiery new single "My Disaster." Joining them on this explosive run are special guests Paledusk (JPN) and Sydney’s own Inertia. The tour kicks off in Brisbane on Friday, October 4, at The Triffid, before heading to Sydney's Manning Bar on Saturday, October 5, and wrapping up at Melbourne's Prince Bandroom on Sunday, October 6.

“It’s been a long time coming since our last major headline shows in these cities back in 2022. We’ve got heaps of fresh material to share with our fans,” Ocean Grove said. “This tour marks the first time we’re bringing out an international support, our friends in Paledusk (JPN), along with our Sydney mates Inertia. Plus, it’s our first Licensed All Ages headline shows in Brisbane and Melbourne, giving our under-18 fans a chance to experience their first OG show. We’re excited to bring a mix of new tracks and some old favorites to the stage.”

Following on from their earlier single “Fly Away,” “My Disaster” showcases Ocean Grove’s unique blend of nu-metal, hardcore, and alternative rock, fusing guttural bounce with melodic melancholy. The band’s distinct Oddworld sound continues to break boundaries, solidifying their status as a powerhouse in the heavy music scene.

Since their 2017 debut with The Rhapsody Tapes, which debuted at #5 on the ARIA Charts, Ocean Grove has consistently pushed the envelope, with top-10 releases Flip Phone Fantasy and Up In The Air Forever. Influenced by legends like Korn, N.E.R.D., and Faith No More, Ocean Grove has toured with heavyweights like Limp Bizkit, Crossfaith, and Don Broco, and appeared at major festivals including Download Festival Australia and Good Things Festival.

Hailing from Fukuoka, Japan, Paledusk burst onto the scene with their 2020 EP Happy Talk, blending metalcore, nu-metal, and EDM in a fresh and exciting way. With ties to the Australian heavy music community, Paledusk is no stranger to Aussie fans, having performed at Good Things Festival in 2022 and toured with Alpha Wolf earlier this year.

Sydney’s Inertia brings a dynamic sound that merges dark pop with driving riffs, showcased in their latest album Second Shadow. Having shared stages with acts like Polaris, Void of Vision, and Story of the Year, Inertia is ready to bring their evolved sound to the Ocean Grove tour.

Tickets go on sale Thursday, August 15, at 11 am local time via Destroy All Lines. Don’t miss the chance to catch Ocean Grove, Paledusk, and Inertia live in action this October!
