Parkway Drive Announce Their Biggest Headline Tour

Australian metal heavyweights Parkway Drive are marking two decades of dominance this year, and they’re bringing the celebration back to home soil with their first Australian headline tour in over six years. The iconic band will be joined by a powerhouse lineup, including Michigan’s Grammy-nominated rockers I Prevail, Californian metalcore mainstays The Ghost Inside, and Melbourne’s own Void of Vision.

Boasting seven studio albums, six of which have achieved gold certification, Parkway Drive is gearing up for their most ambitious tour yet. Lead vocalist Winston McCall recently shared an emotional teaser on Instagram, stating, “Australia, it’s been a while… we’ve been a band for twenty years now. We’ve been through a lot, but we haven’t forgotten about home.”

Their latest album, Darker Still (2022), received widespread acclaim, with its title track becoming a fan favorite. Although the band has performed a few songs from the album live, this tour will mark their first full-fledged headlining stint since its release, sparking excitement over the potential debut of more unplayed tracks.

The tour kicks off at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre before heading to major cities across the country, including Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, and wrapping up in Perth. With a stacked lineup and an electrifying setlist, Parkway Drive’s anniversary tour promises to be a celebration of two decades of groundbreaking music and unforgettable live performances.
