The Preatures Announce “Blue Planet Eyes” - 10th Anniversary Tour.

Iconic Sydney band The Preatures reunite for a 15-date tour to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their ground-breaking debut album, Blue Planet Eyes. The band will perform the album in its entirety, along with a collection of their much-loved hits, across major capital cities and regional centres throughout Australia on their ‘Blue Planet Eyes’ 10th Anniversary Tour.

Late last year, beloved rock band The Preatures reunited on stage for the first time in five years for a very special intimate show at Sydney’s The Lansdowne to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of their breakthrough album Blue Planet EyesFans were treated to an electric and emotional experience as the band revisited the songs that helped define an era of Australian music. Proving the enduring love for the band, the show sold out in 6 minutes, leaving fans around the country begging for them to take their ‘Blue Planet Eyes’ anniversary show on tour.

Similarly, The Preatures had so much fun performing together again that it left them wanting more, with the band explaining “We're so happy to be back doing what we love: playing live, connecting with fans and travelling around Australia! This tour is dedicated to everyone who has supported The Preatures - through all our changes as a group and as individuals. We wanna celebrate this anniversary with you. We're so excited to have the chance to play Blue Planet Eyes, along with the deep cuts... maybe even some new songs. See you in the pit!”

Now, with a newfound stability, the magnetic energy that defines The Preatures has fatefully drawn them back together. Having reformed for a truly joyous show late last year at The Lansdowne, a nod to where they played their first ever gig, The Preatures hunger to do what they do best has well and truly returned. They can’t wait to embark on a 15-date Australian tour, taking in capital cities and regional centres across the country this winter, to perform their iconic debut album Blue Planet Eyes in its entirety, along with a collection of their much-loved hits. The tour is a significant milestone for the band and their dedicated fans, featuring the original line-up of frontwoman Isabella Manfredi, guitarist Jack Moffitt, bassist Thomas Champion and drummer Luke Davison, as well as the return of guitarist Gideon Bensen, who departed the band in 2016, adding an extra layer of excitement for long-time fans.

The Preatures are thrilled to have The Tullamarines and Bec Sandridge join them on tour for what will no doubt be an incredibly special and raucous run of shows.

To commemorate the occasion, The Preatures have also released a very special limited-edition Blue Planet Eyes 10th Anniversary Edition vinyl in electric blue transparent glitter vinyl, featuring ‘Is This How You Feel?’, ‘Better Than It Ever Could Be’, ‘Somebody’s Talking’ and all the timeless hits that defined an era in Australian music history.
